The HMO Mystery

I'd like to thank my bloggy friends who offered encouraging words about my having enrolled in an HMO health insurance plan. I needed to hear those words, because there's much confusion out there about this type of health insurance. My plan doesn't kick in until January, so we'll see how it works out.

Haha! LMAO at the comic. Too funny:)

We've got an HMO and it really is a good plan. I don't use it that often *knock on wood* ...maybe once or twice a year, if that. But hubby has some chronic issues and it works for us.

Wishing you a great Monday, Eva!

Thanks for stopping by over at my place, and for the kind words. Magazine Man is terrific - you'll have a grand time reading through his old archives - and I have no doubt the Saturday Evening Post will be, too, under his editorship. Buy many subscriptions for friends and family!

2. Thank you for all your generous and valued comments on the Sunday Roasts and my posts as well.
3. Thank you for your comments on "A Blogging He Would Go" which seems to want to come out of retirement thanks to dear Joanna Jenkins.
4. We are about the same age - I am a Libran (October)
5. It is indeed a wonderful hobby but non blogging spouces find it totally incomprehensible why we do it and we find it addictive after a while.
6. Yes there are some really great people out there and I value them all greatly.
Hope to see you soon ~ Eddie

The comic is hysterical. I'm making a copy and taking it to my Agent.

Fingers crossed on the insurance. We currently have a PPO plan but when hubby retires we'll be in the same boat at you trying to figure out which way to go. I hope it's smooth sailing for you.

Definitely hope that works out well. I'm a spoiled Canadian whose never been faced with decisions like that and to be honest doesn't even understand them very well. What an enormous thing to have to decide on.

Funny, funny cartoon! My father's insurance company just dropped him and about 1,000 other people locally from their medicare supplement. I have been searching out new insurance companies for a month. It's exasperating. I hope yours works out!
