Contemplating Resolution for the New Year

This is the time of year when one bares one's soul and looks back at the resolutions one didn't keep in 2009 and starts listing the New Year's Resolutions for 2010.

Lets see.  I could resolve to:

Eat less chocolate this year.
Exercise more this year.
Keep my house immaculate this year.
Spend less time on my computer this year.

I could resolve to do all those things;

Nah!  Not gonna' happen!

Wow, that was strenuous!  I think I'd better grab a piece of chocolate and curl up in my recliner with my laptop!

I have resolved to make no resolutions.. why set myself up for failure.. one shouldn't do somethign simply because it is new years but because we truly desire to accomplish it period.

Well at least you're resolved to what you don't want to to, LOL. You should enjoy 2010 - that is what is most important in my opinion!

I never make resolutions, but if I could attain this one, it would be to not care about the crap I can't control.

I resolve to cheer up the babe in the painting. She has those cool long johns, a cup of something chocolaty or caffeinated,, strong shoulders, not to mention the two girls; why is she so down?

Oh, I am SOOOO with you!
Those are all fine resolutions, but...let's face it...life is short, and in the grand scheme of things, who cares if our houses aren't immaculate? If we never exercise? So what if we enjoy our chocolate? And blogging on our computers?
Maybe I'll do those things in 2011, but I just don't see it happening in 2010!
