A Moment Sans Frivolity

With all that is happening in the world and in our lives, I just wanted to take a few minutes to wish all my readers a happy, peaceful holiday season--regardless of their religious affiliation. May the spirit of the season be among us, and let us remeber to count our blessings.

By the way, I seem to have upset someone with my post yesterday. Since it was my 216th post and it's the first time I've received negative feedback, I guess I should count MY blessings. Now I suppose someone will be offended by this Christian post. Let me say in advance, I do not in general put religious items on my blog--however, feel sentiments in this one are non-denominational. I apologize in advance if I'm politically incorrect. (Of course, there is a choice at the very top of the blog that anyone offended can use: It's called Next Blog!

Definitely true - we all have much to be thankful about!

Oh and I see no reason for you to apologize - you have a right to say what you want. It's your blog. One person's comment shouldn't make you change the wonderful, witty writer that you are! :-)

Eva, it's your blog....post whatever you want! If people don't like it, they don't have to read it that day.

Here's the thing, you can post the most benign thing and either lose followers or receive a negative comment.

Merry Christmas!!

Just be yourself and you can't go wrong. No one can be politically correct with every single reader in the blogosphere. So please do not be self-conscious. Have a wonderful holiday season.
