Throwback Thursday! 1969

Hubby #1 was in the air force: I tried his hat on for size!
Oh to be young and thin again!  (Get a load of those cat's eye glasses!)

How cute is that photo? And, wow, Eva - I always loved the Cats Eye glasses. I kept my late grandmother's.

Keep the Throwback Thursday's coming!

How fun! I remember those good ol' days. Unfortunately, my eyesight was too good for the privilege of wearing cat's eyes.

You know, those cat eye glasses are back in style now!
Very cute, Eva. And look at you - had you been working out in the Chamber of Horrors?

How funny I might do this one today. Okay so I have to tell the truth. I was born in 1969! :)

You were a sassy young thing, Eva. Time sure does fly by, doesn't it? Wasn't 1969 just a while ago? We must be close to the same age.

I see "wall to wall' mischief, even back then. Hummm, I remember 1969. Lordy Mercy... lol

Aroo.... USAF all the way.

Isn't it great how our shirts back then could match the table cloths and curtains and nobody really said anything? I have a pic of me standing next to my grandmother's avacado stove in a green butterfly collar shirt.... it looks like my head is just floating there in space like a retarded ugly movie green-screen experiment. Thank goodness the brown corduroys and sweater-vest set it off a bit otherwise it would have sucked.

Hey.... check me out rambling in your reply section not making sense today. Oh yeah..... cute tilt on the hat. ;)

Hi Eva! What a great photo and a blast from the past. You looked then, and still now, like you had and have the best attitude in life! What a great smile you have...I bet it just lights up a room. You also look like you are full of piss and vinegar too!

WOW! one hot momma;) those glasses prove, boys do make passes at girls in glases;)

The glasses were the style then and they actually look good on you. I have seen some just like them lately, maybe they are making a come back like so many things that come around again. You look in the picture but you look great in your today picture too. Your sense of humor jumps out of the today's picture, that is what I like.

OUCH! Your grandma and I wore the same style glasses!

beck: I hated wearing glasses back then. Now, they're a part of me!

Ethel: Wasn't working out...that was BKAYOM (Before kids and years of marriage!

Shannon: I've got you beat: 1944!

DJan: Sometimes it seems like yesterday, othertimes, a whole lifetime ago!

Glen: I think you're right. That mischief has been there for a loong time!

Cunning: I'll have you know that was a designer label dress back then--no matter how ugly the color! lol

Jules: Thank you!

Mesina: If only I'd realized how good I looked..maybe I could have hung on to that shape!

Richard: Thank you, sir!

Hillbilly: Awww You're sweet!

Debbie: "full of piss and vinegar" must be a Maine saying. I haven't heard it in ages, but I remember my dad used to say it--and yeah, probably about me!

Steven: Now there's another phrase I hadn't heard in a while--except when I heard it, it was "guys never make passes at gals who where glasses!"

Techno: My sense of humor is all that kept me alive sometimes!

Kristina: Ya' think?

Diane: You're just a baby! I was already 2 years out of college!

Middle Aged: That's the truth!

Danielle: I'm so sorry for your loss, but feel free to come visit whenever you like!

He would scold you for not having the hat on straight, per regulations. ha

You were very cute in that hat! I had a dress in those colors.... Just thinking about the colors and patterns from 1969 makes me a little ill! "Earth tones," indeed.
