Throwback Thursday: The year 1999

Happiness?  Jubilation?  I'm not sure which word best describes this photo.  The couple in the center:  my oldest son Eric and his new bride Kristen; on the groom, Eric's right (your left), is the bride's sister Kim; on the bride, Kristen's left (your right), is my younger son Jason.  Looking at this photo always  makes me smile!

(OMG!  I just realized that I did my Throwback Thursday on Friday!  My addiction has my brain so addled I don't know what day it is!)

It's the beginning of something big! Yes, marrying kids off is a satisfying, happy feeling all around. I still have one nubile son to get settled in.

Congrats! That's a good looking family. The feel good photos are great to display. My house is cluttered with family photos. They are the finest art I have and a decorator's nightmare.

Nobody here worries about a little thing like getting things done on time. I love the picture, too, and that you shared it with us who love to hear about your life.

hahaha. I know how you feel -- getting the days mixed up! That pic is great though. Reminds me of all the excitement of my own wedding day. Great blog! Thanks for visiting mine as well! =)

Such a great shot! I like the more candid, fun ones. They trump the ones where everyone poses so stoically.

Jason...your youngest son? He looks like he was having a bit too much champagne, er, uh, fun! My kind of guy!!

Steven: the smiles are contagious!

sanjeet: good luck with that.

Tam: I'm not sure if it is because I'm retired or the early stages of Alzheimer's!

Senility setting in is it, missy? Will you be finding your wallet in the freezer later? :)

Nice photo though!

Jubilation is far more important than keeping your days straight, as I figure it. Beautiful family -- and you're right -- you can't help but smile looking at those faces.
