Mother Goose on Middle Age

(Today was a busy sports day; the Red Sox Lost, but the Celtics WON!  Hence, I'm borrowing from Mother Goose on this one....spent too much time watching games to be creative myself!)

Sixty is the new Forty, right?

This is too real for me!

I worry about my friend, Suldog...although his game is softball, still....

                                       This I KNOW is true!

So sad--when I think of the stuff I once could eat and never see all over me!

I say it makes up for all those pap smears we endured!

                                  Seen this before!

I only WISH I were 54 this month!   (Whoops, that's not true!  I'd still be working!)

Hope you are off to a great week!

Despite the fact I'm not a sports fan, I managed to see the Celtics at Boston Garden back in '86 or '87... Bird was injured and sitting out.

In news more related to the Mother Goose Rhymes -- my doc wants me to lose a few pounds.

I love these. Yes, they are so true.

Now you've given me an idea; perhaps I'll try my hand at middle-aged poetry.

Ah Eva; your posts always make me laugh.

I retired two years ago on Sunday...the 6th of June. Don't regret that decision at ALL. ha

This is exactly why I have put a ban on getting older.

Ok, fine..... it's solely for the fact of avoiding the prostate exam in a few years. I'd do it but he refuses to buy me dinner first. He has no excuse, he's a Dr and has money. Cheapo.

Cunning: I put a comment on your last post! I was so excited to see a comment from you. You have been missed, my man! And I agree, he should by you dinner!

Steven: Wah, wah! Have a few mammograms, and then whine to me! lol

Together: You are so welcome!

Canadian: Lucky you. I have never been to a Celtics game, and I am currently in love with the whole team!
