Recovering from the Car Wars

I have spent the last couple of days sparring with car salespeople.  Very traumatic, very exhausting.  As a result, I have no post for today.  I must rest ...suck my thumb, clutch my blankie, and try to recover from this taxing experience!

Night night!

I'll be back with the gory details tomorrow!

We did the whole new car thing last week. It really stinks. For 20 years we owned Saturns. No haggling, no headaches. Loved it. Now they don't make Saturns anymore and we're back to haggling and headaches. Oy.

I hate dealing with those people too. It's almost like talking to an insurance salesman...you have no idea most of the time what they are talking about. They move the facts and numbers around so quickly, you don't even see it! Good luck.

Buy pre-owned. Suze Orman says it depreciates 30% the minute you drive it off the lot. I'm a Volvo fan.

LOL. I hate car shopping. I had to buy a new one in December and I went kicking and screaming - almost literally.

Good luck! And just remember, when they give you the "let me talk to my manager and see what we can do" line - it's BS!

Car shopping makes me break out in hives. Breathe. Eat chocolate. Good luck :)
