It's Tag, and I'm It!

I've been tagged in a game by Terri at Terri's Little Corner.  I don't usually take part in this stuff, but today, I said what the heck!

Here’s the skinny on this game/meme, according to Terri at Terri's Little Corner:

You must list 5 things about yourself; 4 of them must be bold-faced lies. Just make some shit up, we’ll never know; one of them has to be true, though. Of course, nobody will ever know the difference, so we’re just on the honor system here. I trust you. Except for the 4 you lied about, you lying bastards! But don’t go crazy trying to think of stuff as we’re not really interested in quality here. Then you must pass this on to 5 bloggers.   I totally copied this whole paragraph off Terri's Little Corner, ' cause I’m lazy like that.

Now for the 4 lies and a truth:

1.  For two years, I taught English as a Second Language in Paraguay in the Peace Corps.

2.  In high school, I went out for football but was turned down and told girls were not allowed to play boys' sports.

3.  My paternal grandmother was proposed to by Percival Baxter, who later became Governor of Maine.

4.  After I was divorced from my first husband, I decided to have breast augmentation surgery and went from a "B" cup to a "D" cup.

5.  As a freshman in college, I had a secret affair with my English instructor; he was fired by the college at the end of the second semester.

There you go!   Can you tell which is truth and which are fiction?

I've chosen to pass this nonsense along to these lucky bloggy friends (whom you should be following, DUH):

1.  Lazarus at the LG Report

2.  Tracy at It's An Average Life..

3.  Pearl at Why Pearl, You Little.....

4.  Allessandra at the Life and Times of A. Nighbert

5.  Debbie at Debbie Does Drivel

Okay, you's all yours.  You're it!

And for the rest of you....go show these guys some bloggy love!

Damn, Eva, this is the first time I've ever been hit by something like this, I'm still a newbie blogger! I just posted a fresh interview with Carol from England seconds ago, so this will have to wait a couple of days, but I'll play along. So which is your true statement? I found them all interesting and believable; don't keep us hanging!

i am thinking #3 is true...

Number 1, definitely number 1. No, no it's number 3....for sure. No wait, it's Number 1. I just know it is. Am I right? Am I right?

I'll guess #2 is true.

You'll tell us later, right?

I say number 1 as well.. i am pretty sure you were a teacher.. good one.

OK....I already have a post for today so I will say...
#1 is too easy must be a misdirection.
#2 is possible, but, I think you were in HS before that craze hit.
#3 Well, this is probably it but lets check the rest.
#4 no sane person would someone want to go from B to D. Woah, the key word is sane. Been reading you for a while so this is a consideration.
#5 Don't buy it!
So that leaves #3

Hi Eva, this is my first visit to your blog after your visit to ours at the frog and penguinn. This was a fun post and I plan to read some older posts later today and then maybe venture a guess. Glad to "meet" someone else living in Maine so when we revist (as Grenville assures me we will) we will "know" folks there! Do drop in again as we too enjoy visits and comments. BTW I agree with your statement declining awards.

Oooh! I do hope its number five!!! How scandalous!

The first one is true. Total guess, but I'm going with it.

I go for no.3 being true... Will you be telling us which is the truth?

Hi Eva,

Thanks so much for your sweet comment this morning. You really brightened my day. My crappy, crappy day. And thanks for the laughs :)

Hey there! It's been a while since I stopped by your blog (my blogger name used to be Joholdenhan) so I thought I'd drop by..not even going to try to guess which is fact and which is fiction. haha

The fake boobs one is totally true. I'm guessing that you also have a stripper pole in your living room. Am I right?

I'm gonna go with the Percival Baxter one as being true. It's just odd enough. I as tempted to go with the teacher one, but maybe it's too obvious.

And I know it's not number 5. Any college professor lucky enough to have a romp with Eva wouldn't be fired . . . they'd build him a statue in the quad.

i think no. 3 is true rose

Number three and if it isn't I'm going to be totally impressed, because that's not something easily made up.

I say number five because that sounds pretty risque. Tell us, is it true.

Someone's hot for teacher! lol

I'm thinking #1 is true?!

I think you were just naughty enough to have an affair with your professor... that is where my vote is!

Thanks for tagging me... I can't wait to do this!

A day late and a dollar short. I read the answer but would have bet my short dollar that #5 was the truth!

Oooo! I was tagged! Woo Hoo! While I do not do memes, youyous or wewe (well, sometimes I have no choice but to do the latter), I am honored that you chose me! Look for a shout out to you, the one and only Eva, at my place very soon. I hope that won't make you lose any readers.
