And Our Thoughts Turn to the Holidays

The end of the year will be here before we know it.  With Veteran's Day coming, followed by Thanksgiving, November becomes an extremely short month!  And of course, we've already started seeing signs of Christmas.

Of you're like me and like to shop on line, you know it's a good idea to shop early! You know that shipping can take time, and you may even have to allow time for changing you mind!

If you have any seniors on your gift list...  Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, or co-workers, skip over to the Wrestling With Retirement Gift Shop and check out what's available!  Click here to shop the Gift Shop.

Your patronage is appreciated!

You're right...where does the time go. Seems like this year has flown by extremely fast, although each individual work day has lasted forever, lol.

Our family doesn't buy for elderly relatives, we just take a card and a little home baked yumminess. But I'll have a look at your gift shop anyway.

I have finished my Christmas shopping and have been working at signing and addressing Christmas cards. My goal is always to arrive at December 1st with nothing to do as far a holiday prep goes...so I can focus on the real meaning of the holiday.

I do almost all of my shopping online these days. And I love it!

Hi Eva! Thanks for your note on Jingle's blog. Yes - Santa Fe is far from my New England roots! That's probably why my story takes place back there - in Vermont. I love N.E. and look forward to spending more time there now that we have sold our house and are getting an RV! We plan to hit the road in the spring, and N.E. is first on the list.

I love the holiday specials: Halloween's "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," Thanksgiving's "Happy Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown," and Christmas' "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown."
It's a shame that the Veterans Day special, "It's the War to End All Wars, Charlie Brown" never caught on.
