Saturday Silliness

I want to start off today's Saturday Silliness with some Saturday Awesomeness!  You gotta' love this video!  Heck, I wanna' marry this guy!

And while I'm on a musical bent, here's the Beatles' song "Yesterday" specially edited for IT people:

The Beatles "Yesterday" - for IT people

Yesterday,
All those backups seemed a waste of pay.
Now my database has gone away.
Oh I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly,
There's not half the files there used to be,
And there's a milestone hanging over me
The system crashed so suddenly.

I pushed something wrong
What it was I could not say.

Now all my data's gone
and I long for yesterday-ay-ay-ay.

Yesterday,
The need for back-ups seemed so far away.
I knew my data was all here to stay,
Now I believe in yesterday.

********************
I have no clue who wrote that; it came to me on email, but I loved it and had to share!
**********************************************************
An elderly man was stopped by the police around 2 a.m. He was asked where he was going at that time of night.

The man replied, "I'm on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as smoking and staying out late."

The officer then asked, "Really? Who's giving that lecture at this time of night?"

The man replied, "That would be my wife."

Eva, thanks so much, I started my Saturday with a smile, thanks to that cute, little Bieber imitation. And I think that bride and groom were about Justin's age. Sheesh. Young people are starting to look younger and younger each year.

Oh, and just so you know, when I clicked on the link to comment, several spam sites popped up. Someone mentioned this recently on their blog, that it seems to be a new stupid spammer tool. It wasn't a big deal, I just closed them out, but I thought you'd probably want to know.

That video has to be one of the best I've seen, ever. What a cool guy. Thanks so much for finding it. I just cracked up!

And I love the rest of your stuff today, too.

A+++++ on this one.

You have a knack for lyrics!
Send it off to the politicians that might carry it as a banner. It fits today's climate.

Loved the IT lyrics. My husband is a programmer for a large regional bank and is constantly dealing with issues because of user error.

Thanks for celebrating SITS Day with me!

I saw that video on CBS News This Morning. I love "Yesterday" for IT people. When I used to work in IT, I used to tell my staff, "Jesus Saves, and you should too."

Too funny!!! Do you live in Maine? Hubby and I are heading to the cabin on Penopscot Bay in June. We could say hello face to face :)

Jen: I love that you are such a loyal fan!

Debbie: I agree!

Stephanie: glad you liked it. I had to share it!

Rosaria: I didn't write those lyrics. They came to me on email, and there was not credit given to the author! I wish I were that clever!

Clipped: Haven't seen you in a while! Welcomem back. I still can't seem to comment on your blog!

Much better than my rendition of Party Rock Anthem.
Then again, I was drinking.
And I have no rhythm.
