Why Snowbirds Exist

We hope to go south for two or three weeks once I recover completely from my fall.  Here's why:

Amazing! If I had to be in that, I would just roll up in a ball and quit!

Oh come on Eva, don't wimp out on me! We live for this stuff!

OK. I admit it. There have been times I scrape the ice off the living room window and think, "WTF am I doing here?"

And we're getting outta Dodge on Wednesday. Taking our summer stuff from northern Wisconsin to Lake Havasu AZ. Can't wait for the warmth.

My son in Austin keeps reminding me of why he left Missouri. Actually, knock on wood, we have yet to have an inch of the white stuff this winter!

I'm using Mr. Eva's computer because mine is on the fritz. We're going to head to Austin, TX and then, Key West. I'm doing better, thanks. Almost back to normal....or as normal as I ever get!

Thanks for stopping by our blog via SITS!!! I don't envy you with the snow. We live in sunny California so maybe you should road trip it out here:-) It does get cold sometimes but not lately. Hope you recover quickly so you can travel soon!!!

Hahahaha! Loved that reporter one! And a few of those were shot in Seattle, like the bus one. I so remember that one!! Thanks for sharing. Get well soon. I hope you didn't break anything!

I hope you start to feel better soon. I don't blame you for wanting to avoid the snow. I'm not a fan of it either!

By 'south', I hope you don't mean New Hampshire (NOTE: Not that the Granite State isn't beautiful, but it's February. Come ON!).
Incidentally:
Yankee: A person from the North who visits the South.
Damn Yankee: A person from the North who visits the South. And decides to move there.

I'm off for a snowbird vacation tomorrow! It's minus 34 this morning where I live. Sunshine & heat...here I come!
