It's that day of the week when I share news items with you that make me scratch my head and say What the F*ck??
What I found today made me scratch my head, but also made me laugh, so I figured I would share the laughs. Some of you may recall that a year or so ago I did a post about people dressing their dogs and cats in clothing as though they were children. I think it's a humiliating thing to do to pets, but that's just me. Obviously, I'm in the minority, because every year at this time hundreds of dog owners outfit their pooches in Halloween costumes for the Tompkins Halloween Dog Parade in New York City. This year the parade was held on October 20th, and below are some of the highlights:

I'm still scratching my head, and even as I laughed I felt bad for these poor pooches. They're bound to be ridiculed by their friends at the dog park. It's just not right.

Although I can see the cuteness too, and probably some animals get used to being dressed up as it happens so often.

So creative!!!! Although if the lady holding the turkey is supposed to be a pilgrim, she is the sluttiest thang our forefathers have EVAH seen!!!!!

So silly. Poor doggies...no dignity. Very funny, though.
I know it's just not right but I still want to do it! and I have guinea pigs. They would just look so darned cute in a tutu or something like that but my kids say I can't go there!

If my dog shits on my carpet again, I'm dressing him up like spaghetti and meatball. Do you think he'll understand the correlation? I don't care.

Those poor doggies! Some of them look ridiculous! Some are cute though like the spaghetti - who thinks of these? Crazy.
People have too much time on their hands...and their dogs are paying for it. LMAO
Eva....I like the bumble bee but I agree with you...I think it's awful to pile those clothes on dogs. Some of those look heavy to me? The turtle especially and the trump is just ugly.
Thank you for the laugh. We really shouldn't laugh at the dogs. What are their owners wearing?
That's all I know - I hated coming up with costumes for my KIDS every year. Ain't no way I'd do that to my dog! Wait! I don't have a dog! Whew!
