I like that this huge, round, fat bear is better at gymnastics than I ever will be. If I attempted to eat something while hanging upside down from a rope I'd break my neck.

Oh my! My hubby has actually been close to a bear in Sitka. The national park was closed however no one told hubby. He ran like heck when he saw a warm paw print.

Yes, what IS that line made of? Hard to believe a dinky bell can scare off a bear. We, too, saw a similar sign when we were in Yosemite National Park.

I spent my summers working in black bear country in Ontario and I have pictures of bears trying to pick locks to get into food stores. They're stealthy!
