WTF Friday

Because I was busy eating trick or treat candy  greeting trick or treaters, I did not post a WTF Wednesday post.  Knowing how you saddened, devasted, or maybe thrilled?  you all  must have been to have missed this recurring gem, I decided to make today WTF Friday.   Here are the items that caused me to scratch my head and ask "What the F*ck?":

A man in China sued his wife for giving birth to an ugly baby.  Even worse, he won!  It came out during the trial that the wife had undergone plastic surgery to improve her looks before she ever met her husband.  He claims she mislead him by not telling him about the cosmetic work.  He said the baby she had was "so ugly he was horrified."  Certain that his handsomeness could not have produced such an ugly child, he demanded a paternity test.  When the test verified that the infant was indeed his, he sued.  It came out during the trial that the wife had undergone plastic surgery to improve her looks before she ever met her husband.  He claims she misled him by not telling him about the cosmetic work.  The judge agreed with him, and he was awarded $120,000.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, police officer Christopher Webb was visiting an elementary school for career day.  He asked a group of students if they wanted to wash his police car.  When a ten-year-old jokingly refused, Webb showed him what happens to people who don't co-operate with the law:  he shot him with his Taser.  That sent two barbs with 50,000 volts of electricity into the 100 lb. boy's chest, rendering him unconscious.

The incident occurred last May and the lawsuit says the boy still has nightmares and is afraid that if he goes to sleep he'll never wake up.   The boy's parents are suing, claiming the officer acted in a reckless manner.  (Ya think?!)

According to the Huffington Post, Georgie Smith, a British college student accidently swallowed her toothbrush.  Because plastic doesn't show up on Xrays,  doctors allegedly told her there was nothing they could do and that she should just "let nature take care of things."    Talk about in internal "cleansing!"  I sure hope she buys another toothbrush!

And then there's the case of the "exterior decorator:"

Can't believe the husband won.
And the taser thing is something that officer should do time for, as far as I'm concerned.
