I just read that 47 states have submitted petitions to Washington requesting that they be allowed to secede from the Union. (I'm proud that so far none has appeared from Maine!) Talk about sour grapes! At least the signers of these petitions represent only a very small percentage of the populations of these states. Didn't we go through this once before, folks? I think it was called the Civil War!

I could probably get behind voting for a Republican...provided he was dead.
Perhaps they don't realise the Republican is dead, if he's looked really old and grey most of his life, they probably can't tell.
I am curious, though... How does a dead guy even run?!
the secession talk is just idiocy....seriously so what do they do when/if it ever came...think of all the seniors that would stop getting benefits and then what? much more to it than people think....
It is sad people vote just to say " I voted".....that is really knowing your candidates.....!!~!

we voted a dead man into office down here in Texas too... lol...he was a Democrate... I guess it can go both ways... I think we may have elected some "dead (brain dead) men" that are still walking upright.. lol..
