WTF Wednesday

Every now and then, there's something in the news that makes me scratch my head and ask "What the f*ck?"    Then, of course, I have to share these items with you!

Here's what has me scratching my noggin today:

In Syracuse, New York, Arthur Brundage was apprehended by police for bank robbery, when he returned to the bank to complain that he was shortchanged on the loot.  (Duh?)

Pictured above is 41-year-old Chad Forber who is facing a series of charges including resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident
in which he was found naked in public, covered in nothing but Crisco.  (obviously, he had plans to get fried!)

In Ocala, Florida, James Gray was arrested for his 5th DUI when authorities stopped him for drunk driving on a lawn mower.  (Hey, he could have been doing grass!)

Clyde Hobbs was arrested for making obscene phone calls to 911.  He made at least 17 calls to the number and attempted to "talk dirty" to the emergency operators.  This was not his first "collar," and he asked officers when they arrived, "Are you here to arrest me, again?"   (someone needs to tell this guy that calls to 911 are automatically locked in to your address.  He'd have better luck making random calls from the phone book.)

Jenkins, Kentucky Police spotted one of their cruisers in a photo on Facebook.  In the photo, Michael Baker was siphoning gas from the police cruiser and flipping off the photographer.  Apparently, the officers did not see the humor in it and arrested the 20-year-old on charges of theft by unlawful taking.  (WTF were they thinking, posting that on facebook???  Did they think no one would notice?  Not to mention stealing from the police dept.!)

Well, that's enough head-scratching for today.....

Note:  all above news items came from the Huffington Post.

So funny. We shouldn't worry about it though. It's a form of unorganized crime. Sorry couldn't help myself. Thanks for visiting my website today at SITS. I hope to wrestle with retirement in 18 months.

Chad Forber must have needed a lot of Crisco!
