God's glorious mantle - lovely to look at whilst sitting in 27'C Mumbai!! Glad I don't have to do the shovelling. Meanwhile, I can hear the whisper quiet blanket that is a Sunday morning in winter.
I loved visiting Maine in the summer and in fall. I don't think I would appreciate the winter there much. Yesterday I scrubbed the pool as it is almost time to fill it up again - with water. No snow here.
Well on the plus side, you won't have to go to the gym if you dig your car out. I lived in Alaska once but didn't have a car, so I walked everywhere. No car to dig out.
I am sooooo glad that's not me right now! It was zero C here today but sunny and dry so it seemed pretty nice. Grab a hot drink and curl up with a blanket and enjoy the "prettiness" of it.
Hi, I'm your Canadian neighbour to the north. I live in New Brunswick and we also were hit by the recent blizzard...not fun! I found your blog when searching for over 40 bloggers. I don't really relate to the 20 & 30 year olds with young families and I'm looking to connect with other bloggers who are, like me, over 40! Monica, Older Mommy Still Yummy
Wow, that's amazing! You know, it's funny, living here in Colorado people assume we get snow like that all the time. But we don't. The most snow we've had so far this winter was about 2-3 inches. Right now it's sunny. Seeing that much snow just blows my mind.

Would you please pass me a sweater--& my mittens--& a blanket--& some cocoa--&...
so you got a little snow...smiles....
Well, shut my mouth! All that snow leaves me speechless. Maybe it will melt by March.
And I thought things were bad here, Maine is way too white for my taste....Hope it melts soon!
I live in a region where the temperatures rarely drop below freezing, that amount of snow is mind-boggling.
Make me a snowman. ;-)

I love Main, but the natives told me to be gone by September 1st, when winter starts.
OHMYGOSH!!! Look at all that snow!! Brrrr! Stay warm and good luck digging out of that.
OHHH! Pictures say it all. Stay warm and safe.

It certainly is!
=)
Snow? We don't need no stinkin' snow.
That's a lot of snow! I'll never complain about Oregon winters again.
You really got a lot this time. I think we are only going to get 6 or 8 inches in our part of Minnesota, which is pretty manageable.
And I LOVE it - - - thanks for sharing!
I yiyi, I thought about you when I heard about the big storm. Hope you're nice and warm inside.

YIKES!! I like snow and all, but that's no joke. I guess I'll sit here and enjoy our 70 degree weather here in Texas.
Stay warm!
Oh, my. That is impressive. Glad to see your post and know that at least you aren't buried under that stuff.
I will remember these pics during Texas July/August and just "sigh"?
Wow!
Brrrrr. Reminds me of Ohio winters, although I'm sure yours have much more snow. Still....Brrrrrr!
WOW, but beautiful!!! <3
Wow, that is a whole lot of winter wonder.
