My goodness! Are people moving, or are people no longer going to church?

I wonder why the bell towers on that first church aren't the same height. Of course the steeples on the facade of the famous Chartre Cathedral are different but that's because hundreds of years passed during construction and styles changed. I doubt that was the reason here.

I hope that whoever buys these churches keeps the buildings intact while converting them for other uses.
I can understand why they are for sale, so many people no longer go to church, then there is all the kerfuffle over the Catholic Church turning a blind eye to child abuse for so many years. I would say, with a fair amount of confidence, that other religions are in the same boat, having to sell churches for lack of use.

I wonder how much a church goes for?

I loved all the churches we saw when visiting Maine. Such a picturesque place to be.

They are very beautiful... I wonder what the price is and if the church would like to lease it back?

What a beautiful collection of churches. I hope that they won't be torn down after being sold.
