Silent Sunday

Today I'm mourning the loss of  two of my favorite Celtics:   Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett have been traded to the Brooklyn Nets.  I'm so sad to see them go;  I know it had to happen, but it still breaks my heart.

Poor Eva--this (& they), too, shall pass!!

You might just have to follow more than one team!

Brian: It's the Nets, not the Knicks; my mistake, which I have since corrected.

Stephen: Thanks for the empathy. It will be hard to cheer against these guys.

fishducky: they pass, they dribble, they score! lol

roaria: Divided loyalty? Cannot do!

But now you have another team to watch play. Win-Win.

I always hate to see my favorite sports icons go. But maybe someone even better will come in and take the spotlight, right?

Sorry to hear that for you. As you know, I don't watch the NBA all that much. At least I pay attention more than hockey. Are the Stanley Cup finals over? I think Chicago won.

oh, the Celtics! Many fond memories of watching the games with my grandfather, back in the Larry Bird days. Yes, I know, that was 100 years ago. ;)
So sorry for your loss, Eva!
